1. Who we are

cvscan.one is operated by Roman Gal / kenny.one, a recruitment and HR consulting firm based in the Czech Republic. Contact: roman@kenny.one

2. What data we collect

  • CV file content: The text extracted from your uploaded PDF or DOCX file. The original file is deleted immediately after text extraction.
  • IP address: Used solely for rate limiting (max 3 free analyses per 24 hours).
  • Browser user agent: Used for basic analytics.
  • Email address: Only collected if you purchase the Pro tier, for the purpose of booking a consultation call.
  • Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.

3. How we use your data

  • To analyze your CV using AI and provide feedback.
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To send you a consultation booking link (Pro tier only).

4. AI processing

Your CV text is sent to the Anthropic API (Claude) for analysis. Under Anthropic's API data policy, your data is not used to train AI models. We do not share your CV text with any other third party.

5. Data retention

  • Uploaded files: Deleted immediately after text extraction.
  • Free analysis results: Auto-deleted within 24 hours.
  • Paid analysis results: Auto-deleted after 7 days.

6. Third-party services

  • Anthropic (Claude API): CV text analysis.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • Supabase: Database hosting (EU region).
  • Vercel: Application hosting.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Since we auto-delete all data within 24 hours (free) or 7 days (paid), most data will already be removed by the time you make a request. For any data-related requests, contact us at roman@kenny.one.

8. Cookies

cvscan.one does not use tracking cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics that set cookies. Essential cookies may be used by our hosting provider (Vercel) for basic functionality.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of cvscan.one after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
